Cancelling your Appointment
If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone to cancel your appointment.
Out of Hours
Monday through Thursday between 6.30 pm and 8.00 am the following day and between 6.30 pm on Friday and 8.00 am the following Monday, ring NHS 111
Home visits are for the totally housebound or very seriously ill. Please telephone before 10.30am and be prepared to give the receptionist some indication of the nature and urgency of the problem. The doctor will usually wish to speak to you before arranging to visit.
Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Health Centre
We operate both an open access and pre-bookable appointment arrangement for our patients to see doctors. The open arrangement is restricted to the first four appointments in the morning per GP.
To ensure our GPs are practising safely, it will be necessary to restrict the number of patients a single GP can see in any one session. If a session is full, you may be asked to come back another time. Where possible and when this occurs, you will be offered a booked appointment or asked to visit our other site. If you need to be seen urgently by a GP, then this will be accommodated.
We have two practice nurses covering various surgery times and days at both Wollaston and Bozeat. We have listed some appointment information for your convenience. Please contact the surgery to book an appointment. The receptionist can also help to book appointments with the midwife and give information about health visitors.
Lisa is our Asthma nurse and will see you for Asthma, COPD, Chronic Heart Disease.
Sarah is our Diabetic nurse and will see you for all your diabetic requirements.

For any urgent problems, ring your surgery any time (Refer to out of hours phone numbers if you are ringing during the out of hours timings).
For any routine enquiry ring your surgery between 11 am & 12 noon or 4 & 6 pm and talk to the receptionists.
If you wish to speak to the doctor please ring between 11.30 am & 12 noon. If the doctor is busy with a patient, receptionist will take the message and give you a time for you to ring back when the doctor would be free to talk to you, if necessary.
Whilst we encourage our patients to come to the surgery, where we have the proper equipment and facilities available, we do appreciate this is not always possible. In this respect, if you do need a home visit, you can help us by calling reception before 10:30.
You may only request a home visit if you are housebound or are too ill to visit the practice. Your GP will only visit you at home if they think that your medical condition requires it and will also decide how urgently a visit is needed. Please bear this in mind and be prepared to provide suitable details to enable the doctor to schedule house calls
You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
You can now book an appointment with the county council to register your baby's birth. Please see attached poster:
