You do not need to make an appointment to see a doctor at either surgery except to Bozeat on Wednesday mornings.

Pre-bookable appointments are available on Wednesday mornings at Bozeat for patients registered at both surgeries.  To make an appointment contact the receptionist at either surgery

Cancelling your Appointment
If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone to cancel your appointment.

Out of Hours
Monday through Thursday between 6.30 pm and 8.00 am the following day and between 6.30 pm on Friday and 8.00 am the following Monday, ring Nenedoc on 0333 6 664 664.

Home Visits
If you are too ill to come to the surgery, a home visit can be arranged by contacting the receptionist. Please ring between 9 and 10.30 am, where possible

APPOINTMENTS

We operate an entirely open access arrangement for our patients to see doctors. Your do not need to make a prior appointment to see a doctor. As long as you present yourself at the reception during the hours listed in consulting times (please see next tab), we promise that a doctor will see you in that surgery.

For patients who like to make a pre-bookable appointment to see a doctor, we offer this on Wednesday mornings at Bozeat for patients registered at either surgery. Please contact the receptionist at either surgery to make an appointment to see a doctor if you so wish.

 

We have three practice nurses covering various surgery times and days at both Wollaston and Bozeat.  We have listed some appointment information for your convenience.  Please contact the surgery to book an appointment.  The receptionist can also help to book appointments with the midwife and give information about health visitors.

All Nurses:

Smear - Please book mid cycle
High Vaginal Swab - Only Tuesdays or Fridays unless willing to take to Isebrook
Chronic Disease - these also include 6 monthly blood pressure checks
Blood Pressure - when you have been asked to book 4 weekly or less
Ear Syringe - Please see your doctor first
Stitches Out
Dressings - 4 layer dressings to be booked in with Jo or Karen only and need a double appointment.
HRT/Pill Check
Injections  Zoladex, Vitamin B12, Kenalog etc - Please make receptionist aware so we can make sure it is in stock for you.
Travel Vaccinations - If you require yellow fever, please book with Karen and this is chargeable.
 

Karen

Karen is our Asthma nurse and will see you for Asthma, COPD, Chronic Heart Disease, Stop smoking (please contact us for first appointment) and is also our Yellow Fever Nurse.

Jo

Jo is our diabetic nurse (Please book a double appointment) and also does Stop Smoking.
