Training and Teaching

Our practice is accredited for training of registrars to become general medical practitioners. These doctors are fuly qualified and have previous hospital experience of varied length and specialities.  Initially these doctors sit-in with partners during the consultations. We will inform you of their presence in advance, and if you do not want them to be present at a consultation, we will respecct your wishes. This will not affect your treatment in any way. Once they are settled in the praactice they will consult and you will be asked about whether or not you would want to consult a registrar.

From time to time our registrars (doctors in training) record video of their consultations. This is for their training purposes only. We will only do this with your agreement and you may later decide to have the consultation deleted. All video discs are stored securely and confidentially on the premises and are erased as soon as their use for training is finished.
