Appointments
You do not need to make an appointment to see a doctor at either surgery except to Bozeat on Wednesday mornings.

Pre-bookable appointments are available on Wednesday mornings at Bozeat for patients registered at both surgeries.  To make an appointment contact the receptionist at either surgery

Cancelling your Appointment
If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone to cancel your appointment.

Out of Hours
Monday through Thursday between 6.30 pm and 8.00 am the following day and between 6.30 pm on Friday and 8.00 am the following Monday, ring Nenedoc on 0333 6 664 664.

Home Visits
If you are too ill to come to the surgery, a home visit can be arranged by contacting the receptionist. Please ring between 9 and 10.30 am, where possible

Chronic Disease Management

Our practice nurses are trained and experienced in review of patients with chronic medical conditions. We recommend you have an appointment with our nurse if you suffer from High Blood Pressure, Coronary heart disease, Stroke, Epilepsy, Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, or Chronic Kidney Disease. This should help to keep you healthier inspite of your existing illness and to prevent further complications, events or worsening of your illness.

If you wish to have help and guidance about stopping smoking please make an appointment with our nurse who will assist you.

Minor Surgery

Untitled1We perform minor surgical procedures by prior appointment.

Family Planning Service

We offer family planning services.  This includes fitting of IUCDs and emergency contraception.

Chlamydia Screening

Untitled3We recommend chlamydia screening for everyone in the age range of 16 to 25 years if you are sexually active. It is done by sending a urine sample to hospital laboratory. This is part of a national campaign for detection and treatment of chlamydia infection. Please make an appointment with our practice nurse if you wish to be screened for chlamydia.

Cervical Cytology (Smears)

We recommend all ladies between 25 and 65 years of age to have a smear test every 3 years. This helps prevention and early detection of cancer of the cervix.

Our midwife runs antenatal clinics at Wollaston every Friday by prior appointment.

Child Health Surveillance Clinic

Child health surveillance is available at Wollaston and Bozeat by prior appointments. The receptionists will arrange appointments for these.

Well Baby Clinic

Wollaston Village Hall, 1st & 3rd Thursday     from 2 – 3 pm

Brookside Medical Centre, 2nd Thursday    from 2 – 3 pm 

Children Immunisation clinic

Children Immunisation is available on 2nd Wednesday of the month at 9.45am at Wollaston and on 3rd Wednesday of the month at 10 am at Bozeat.
